“Argen-Tees-ers“.
In celebration of International Women’s day, Club de Remo Argentino (Argentinian Rowing Club) kindly extended an invitation to TRC to participate in their regatta for Female Double Sculls.
And up stepped Elizabeth Bostock and Iona Macleod to duly accept the challenge!
Luckily, participation was not as difficult as first thought – with no need for bags to be packed, the race was open to crews from abroad as an “on-line regatta “.
Foreign crews could participate by registering and providing results as long as they had been measured by a GPS app and the requirement was to row 14km.
So that’s what they did. On a lovely spring morning the double set off….
Up and down the river…..
Job done and time submitted.
Results out on 23rd March……….
