The club currently has over 200 members and welcomes:
- All ages, from junior to masters.
- Any level of ability, from complete beginner to experienced rower.
- Any level of committment, from recreational rowing to serious competition.
- Disabled Athletes, as part of our flourishing Adaptive Squad
You will have to ‘Learn to Row’ before you can Row!
If you haven’t rowed before you will have to go through one of our Learn to Row courses, so we can keep you safe by teaching you the basics.
It’s also a great way to get a feel for the sport before committing to full membership.
The links to the Learn to Row courses are shown on the right hand side of this screen.
Have you rowed before?
If you’ve rowed before, you won’t have to undertake a Learn to Row course, but we will ask you for previous experience information.
Click the ‘I’ve rowed before’ link on this page.
A couple of exceptions
There are a couple of other paths to join Tees RC, namely:
- Adaptive
- As a Cox
- As a Rec Rower
Each of these pathways has a separate link on this page to allow you to contact the relevant squad leader directly.
