One great performance, one win and a very decent row
One great performance, one win and a very decent row was the order of the day at the 2025 North of England Head, held on the 16th March in Chester.
Boating from Queen’s Park School rather than the usual Groves, the water conditions were perfect, with only a slight flow.
First to row were the Tees ladies, rowing as F in the W MasE/F 8+ category. They put in a great performance coming 2nd out of six, beating the likes of Royal Chester and Pengwern.

Left to Right: Karen Hamilton, Jane Greenaway, Fiona Mortimer, Elizabeth Bostock, Iona Macleod, Kendra Exley (1st reserve), Janet Wilkinson (c), Helen Wescott, Liz Leigh, Kristi Eddy
