Apart from the winners of the individual races an overall winner is announced at the end of the series. At Tees RC the race takes place in the Autumn and is 5000 metres long from the (Queen Elizabeth Way) road bridge over the Tees (the Jubilee Bridge) into Ingleby Barwick to the finish at the Millennium Footbridge in Stockton.

In the afternoon and over the same course Tees RC runs the Tees Small Boats Head. This enables competitors, some of whom have travelled a long way, to get two good races in during the day, allowing them to go home tired but happy!

Please note: These are two separately organised events run on the same day and the same course each with their own BROE entry. Details and entry procedures for Tees Long Distance Sculls are advertised at www.nerowing.com
