A beautiful sunny spring day, starting off cold but soon warming up, saw a decent Tees contingent take to the water in York.
The river was flat but there was some flow creating following conditions for the race. Steerers had their work cut out, dodging pleasure cruisers, navigating the twisty course and all while squinting into the sun.
Tees RC won 6 events – a fantastic achievement!

And a special mention to Helen in the mixed quad who, despite showing all of her 20 weeks of pregnancy, managed to maintain a rate of 33-35 all the way down the course!
