A lovely send off

the boat said at some point “bride to be” but wind took it away.
The past 9th of August my crew, or as we call ourselves “Teessers” organised a surprise Hen do for Francesca Brito.
Francesca is to be married in September and was not expecting this at all! You can see the face of excitement below 🙂
With the amazing support from our cox, Dick, We were able to take an eight out in a veeeery breezy day (and survived). Followed by a lovely lunch in the club room which included decorations and games.
We had lots of fun, and most importantly, we made it a day to remember for one of our brides to be in the squad.
If someone would have told me a few of years ago that I’d be able to build an amazing community of women from the hobby I just happened to pick up, I wouldn’t have believed them. Now, I’m just so proud to be part of this group of wonderful people I have the pleasure to call friends.
