A legendary weekly fun race, open to all and THE place to hone your steering skills!
A 2.8k sprint from Teal bend to the Millennium Bridge, it’s a handicapped race so everyone has a chance to win and beat their handicap.
And don’t look too good on the way to the start, or else you’ll find yourself starting at the back of the pack!
Expect close-quarters racing, teaching you to concentrate on your own boat and be aware that Teal Dash rules apply – you don’t have to give way to faster boats!
But do also remember that the Safety of Rowers and Boats is always the Priority!
The Teal Dash is open to any size of boat, from Singles to Eights. It happens every Friday morning – we boat from Tees RC at 7am. (7:30 in winter).
