Welsh Coastal Championships (Endurance), Saundersfoot
Two junior members of Tees travelled to Saundersfoot on the 7th June 2025 to compete in the second round of the Home Nations. Seren Williams had an amazing race in her first foray into offshore in a single. She came 2nd in the U19s with Sefi Ormston coming in 3rd.
Sefi then went on to cox the Whitby ladies quad to a convincing win before jumping in the mixed double with Zack Hills (Tynemouth /Whitby) who went on to win the U19s mixed double retaining their Welsh title.
To round off the day, Sefi competed in a composite mixed quad with students from Swansea University and Bristol rowing club. A crash at the start with her Whitby teammates resulted in a 30 second time penalty putting them in 2nd place overall.
Next stop Jersey for round three.
